Vic Rebman Ph.D.

Vic Rebman, Ph.D., HSPP is the founder of Adventures In Learning and Rebman Consulting, a goal oriented consulting firm and clinical practice committed to helping individuals and organizations reach their goals. He provides coaching, consulting, and counseling services for addressing the human factor issues impacting health, performance and profitability. Clinically, he specializes in medication-free treatment for depression and anxiety.

Dr. Rebman earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida (APA approved doctoral program) . He completed an APA approved internship at Malcolm Bliss Mental Health Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his MA in Clinical/Experimental Psychology and a BA in Psychology from Wichita State University, where he graduated with honors – magna cum laude. In 1982, he relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he has been in private practice for over 30 years.

With over 60,000 hours of experience, Dr. Rebman understands what it takes for individuals and working cultures to change, and how to stimulate and guide the change process. His ability to combine psychology and spirituality provides a unique approach to the counseling and coaching process.

During his leisure time, Vic enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, woodworking and motorcycling. His most memorable adventure is rafting the Grand Canyon on his 50th birthday.

Lauren Rodenbeck, LMFT is a marriage and family therapist with Adventures In Learning. She works to release and enhance human potential through individual, couples, family and group counseling. Adventures In Learning provides a comfortable, calm, and confidential environment where clients can feel at ease pursuing their therapeutic goals.

Lauren Rodenbeck graduated from Purdue University in 2008 with a BA degree in Psychology and a minor in Child Development and Family Services. She continued her education at Indiana University Purdue University – Fort Wayne graduating with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2011.

Through her education and experience, Lauren has had the pleasure of working with individuals, couples and families in both the community mental health and private practice setting. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. Her therapeutic approach involves customized individual and family therapies, with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy.

Lauren’s clinical interests include self-esteem building in children, teens, and adults as well as behavior modification, stress management, and women’s issues. She has a specialized focus on social media and it’s influence on self-image, particularly in children and adolescents. Self-esteem groups are available for all ages and based on cognitive restructuring techniques designed to deepen insight into one’s potential, identity, and characterological strengths.
